The challenge
The existing concrete floor was dusting and cracked, failing hygiene audits. Operations could not stop, so work had to be phased around live storage zones.
Our solution
We divided the warehouse into zones, mechanically ground and repaired each area, then installed a self-levelling epoxy system with colour-coded traffic lanes, working night shifts to avoid disruption.
Project overview
The client operates a temperature-controlled storage facility handling medicines for distribution across North India. Their floor had become a liability: dust contaminated packaging and cracks made cleaning difficult.
Our approach
- Moisture and hardness testing to confirm the slab was suitable
- Diamond grinding with dust extraction to keep stock clean
- Crack and joint repair using epoxy mortar
- Primer, self-levelling body coat and a UV-stable top coat
- Yellow safety lanes and zone markings for forklift traffic
Outcome
The finished floor is seamless, easy to sanitise and significantly brighter, improving visibility in aisles. The client has since engaged us for a second facility.
βThe team planned every zone around our dispatch schedule. We never had to stop shipping, and the floor has transformed our audits.β
